At the Annual General Meeting that took place on September 30th, 2011, Ontario March of Dimes honoured several individuals and corporations who are endeavoring to enhance the lives of people living with physical disabilities.

Community Partnership Award
Awarded to an organization or community group for outstanding collaboration with Ontario March of Dimes in support of persons with disabilities.

Jeannette Shannon Leadership Award
Awarded to any present or past member of the Board of Directors who has contributed at least 15 years of volunteer service to OMOD and has made significant contributions.

The Right Honourable Paul Martin Sr. Award
Awarded for service to Ontario March of Dimes in the areas of fundraising, service or policy.
JOAN HOBBS, Aylmer, Ontario
Reverend Roy Essex Award
Awarded to a long-term volunteer(s) who has demonstrated a high degree of commitment and made an outstanding contribution to the goals of March of Dimes. There are three recipients this year:

Richard Kall Employee Award of Excellence
Awarded to any full or part-time employee who demonstrates selflessness, excellence, improves the work environment and enhances customer service.

Wade Hampton Employment Training Bursary
Awarded to any Ontarian with a physical disability requiring financial assistance to pursue a profession or career goal. There are two recipients this year:
