ROCKING FOR DIMES IN SARNIA!
Annual showcase raises $5000 for local March of Dimes Canada programs
For Immediate Release – If you weren’t at Brown Stones the other night, you missed the musical showcase of the year.
Four local artists – Suit Up, Dressed to Kill, Cornerstone, and opening act Moyralyn - demonstrated their musical chops to a packed house of over 150 people, and supported March of Dimes Canada while they did.
Altogether, the event raised an impressive $5000, all of which will benefit MODC programs for children and adults with disabilities. The money will support March of Dimes Canada’s Stroke Recovery Canada® and Adaptive Devices programs.
‘Sarnia is always a lot of fun,’ said Dennis Ullman, Associate Director of Special Events and Community Relations, Fund Development for March of Dimes Canada. ‘It’s a generous city, and that’s why we can continue to serve Canadians living with disabilities.’
This year’s success bring the grand total of funds raised by Rock for Dimes Sarnia to $12,600!
‘I’d like to thank Sarnia for being so supportive,’ Ullman continued. ‘The money you raised is going to make a big difference to a lot of people right here in Southern Ontario.’
Our very generous sponsors are: Airgo Medical, Canadian Music Therapy Trust Fund, Agency59, Canadian Music Therapy Trust Fund, Brown Stones, K106.3, AutoMax MV.1, Picker’s Alley, and Tip Top Tailors.
