BIDDING ON A GOOD CAUSE!
Storage Wars Kingston raises $3000 for March of Dimes Canada
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – The bidding is over for Storage Wars Kingston 2017.
Based on the hit reality tv show Storage Wars, this annual event benefits March of Dimes Canada programs in Kingston. MODC partnered with CaraCo Storage Solutions to host an afternoon of treasure hunting, fun, and BBQ, which also helped improve the lives of Canadians living with disabilities.
This year’s event was hosted by Bill Hall of CKWS, and raised over $3400.
‘Every dollar of that money will have a concrete, measurable impact on our consumers,’ says Terry Leclair, Regional Employment Services Manager for March of Dimes Canada.
In addition to Employment Services, March of Dimes Canada also provides peer support to stroke and polio survivors, Recreation and Accessible Travel programs, and life skills training, among many other services.
‘This is the third year we’ve held Storage Wars,’ Leclair adds, ‘and every time it gets bigger and better. We’re already looking forward to 2018.’
