What is a Support Group:
The peer support groups give survivors, their families, friends and caregivers the opportunity to share their personal experiences and learnings, offering a network of support and social activities.
Chapter: A Chapter operates as part of March of Dimes Canada. Under the March of Dimes Canada policies and regulations a peer support group that decides to sign on and become an official Chapter of March of Dimes Canada shall be entitled to numerous benefits. The primary one being that they will have use of our charitable number. With that comes a financial account, insurance for events, meetings and fundraisers and access to all of March of Dimes Canada’s resources; our monthly newsletters, our conferences and our monthly calls, ect…
Associate: Associate members are part of Stroke Recovery Canada® but are not part of March of Dimes Canada and are independent organizations with their own charitable number.
