Gisele believes she can improve her mobility everyday - and she is!
When Gisele was diagnosed with cerebral palsy mainly affecting her legs, her parents feared she would be using a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Instead, she is today getting around on her own using two 4-prong canes. She’s working on using single point canes, and hopefully might be down to one cane someday soon.

Phoning our Donors
As the primary service provider for Canadians living with physical disabilities, March of Dimes Canada relies on the generosity of our committed and generous donors who provide the majority of our funding for our programs and services. To further our fundraising activities March of Dimes Canada is launching a telephone fundraising campaign across Canada from June 24 - November 30, 2011.
We work hard to ensure our telephone representatives are as knowledgeable about our programs and services as possible and are always respectful and courtious to our supporters. During this campaign you may choose to make a donation over the phone using a credit card or have a pledge form sent to you by mail. As always you are welcome to make a gift through our website at any time. If you receive a phone call during this campaign and wish to no longer be solicited by phone please tell our fundraiser to be placed on our do-not call list and we will ensure your wishes are resected.
