January is Ontario March of Dimes month and the organization’s largest fundraising campaign of the year is going strong.

“Our goal is to raise over $1 million across the province,” says Neil Gallaiford, Director of Fundraising. “With our history and the supportive communities around Ontario, I know that everyone will do what they can so we can exceed our goal.”

Canvassers willl continue to knock on doors into the month of February to ensure that goals are met and important programs will have the funding they need.

For more than 50 years the annual Door-to-Door Campaign has raised money to increase the independence and community participation of people with physical disabilities. This year over 13,000 volunteers across Ontario are braving the harsh winter weather to help support our essential programs and services.
