Ontario March of Dimes has extensive expertise providing services for businesses relating to the issues and needs of those with physical disabilities.

Our services include job placement, barrier free design consultation, sensitivity and awareness training, assessments for vocational rehabilitation, hospital discharge planning and services for those with acquired brain injuries.

Sensitivity and Awareness

team work

It isn't hard to see physical barriers in your workplace, restaurant or school that make movement difficult for a person with a physical disability.

A lack of experience and understanding when communicating with someone with a disability can be much harder to see, and just as much of a barrier.

Barrier-Free Design Audits

Accessibility for people with physical disabilities is no longer just good for business and the community. It is now the law in Ontario.

Our consultants evaluate the accessibility of buildings and environments to determine whether they meet the needs of people with physical disabilities.

Vocational Rehabilitation

Our vocational rehabilitation services focus on effectively determining obtainable and suitable vocational goals for your claimants.

We engage claimants throughout the entire assessment process, using their input right from the first interview, through the testing phase and during the development of suitable long-term goals.
