Rock for Dimes with Justin Hines!
On Thursday, March 4th at the Moose & Goose in Thorold guests were able to enjoy a great night of music, featuring internationally renowned singer-songwriter Justin Hines, and opening band DisORderly Conduct. Funds raised benefited March of Dimes Canada’s programs and services for children and adults with disabilities. |

Over the past three years internationally-renowned singer-songwriter Justin Hines, and his manager Aubrey Winfield, have become great friends of March of Dimes. Justin has played at two of our other Rock for Dimes fundraisers and at our L.I.V.E Conference for polio and stroke survivors. Possessed of an unflagging spirit, Justin has a rare genetic joint condition called Larsen Syndrome, and thus he uses a wheelchair.
From a very early age, his creative mind was emanating poetry about universal love and the soul. His charitable works are so numerous it’s hard to even begin to list all of his performances at fundraising events that began at the age of 10. His love and concern for humanity, not just the disadvantaged, gradually became the focus of attention of his art and volunteer work.
Justin has released two albums, ‘Sides’ and the recently-released ‘Chasing Silver’. He is immediately recognizable from his Ontario Tourism ads which ran frequently this summer. Justin has played audiences as large as those at the Beijing and Vancouver Olympics and Paralympics, and has been busy criss-crossing the country on tour for Chasing Silver. He was supported by band members , Kevin Adamson on piano & vocals, Drew Birston on bass, Roger Travassos on drums & percussion and James MacGregor on the acoustic guitar.
The event was sponsored by Dell Lewis and Krall, Pride Mobility, The Moose and Goose, Ogilvy Renault, AMG Medical, The Orange Lounge, IN Discover Recordings and print sponsor Sun Media.
Special thanks to the members of DisORderly Conduct, Justin Hines, Aubrey Winfield and Justin Abedin.
