Fourth annual battle of the bands  fundraiser to raise money for Vancouver families with disabilities.

Four bands will shake The Roxy Vancouver on Thursday, March 25th to raise an estimated $15,000 for families living with disabilities.

BIG BACK YARD, Krunch!, No Reply and The Ringtones will compete for bragging rights, at the same time showcasing their talents to music industry professionals.

Music producers Mike Fraser, Randy Staub and Jeff Dawson are on board as judges – along with LOVERBOY star Mike Reno. Known for their hits Working For The Weekend, When It's Over, Take Me To The Top, Only The Lucky Ones, just to name a few, LOVERBOY has won multiple Juno Awards and was last year inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.  Mike Reno is also an accomplished solo artist.

Media sponsor 96.9 Jack FM’s Kieran Wilkie will be the evening’s host.

All proceeds benefit March of Dimes Canada’s programs for children and adults with disabilities.

Business in Vancouver, Dollar Giant. Gowlings, AMG Medical and the Roxy Nightclub are sponsors with 96.9 Jack FM is the presenting media sponsor. Vogville Recording Studio has donated recording time to the winning band.

This is the fourth time that Rock for Dimes has been held in Vancouver, and it is part of a series of fundraisers that are held across Canada, including stops in Halifax, Calgary, Ottawa, London, Montreal and an upcoming appearance in Toronto.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 25th at the Roxy Vancouver, located at 932 Granville Street.  The event is open to the public. Tickets are $25 per person.
