If you had been in downtown Kingston Saturday morning, you would have seen hundreds of soldiers marching through the streets. They were members of the Princess of Wales' Own Regiment raising money for the Ontario March of Dimes.
At the conclusion of the 10-kilometre march, Officer Cadet George Cheeseman was named top fundraiser. He got $204. Next was Major Reg Gilbert with $200. Third was Capt. David Lucas, who raised $189.50. Among PWOR cadets, Liam Cole had the best showing. He raised $104.
