Before Commencing Classes

Group Composition
Composing conductive groups for classes in the ten-week sessions, intensive blocks or the summer camp is at the discretion of the conductor leading the classes.  The groups will be composed based on age, ability, skills conductive and individual goals.

Waiting List
The waiting list is comprised of applicants for whom Conductive Education® has been recommended but who cannot be given a start date at the time of assessment.  The Conductive Education® Manager and Lead Conductor will monitor schedules and make every effort to offer services as soon as possible.

Deposits
To enroll in any Conductive Education® program, a deposit is required at the time of registration. Deposits can be made by supplying a credit card number, name and expiry date and/or a cheque made payable to “Ontario March of Dimes”. Deposits will not be charged or cashed until such time as March of Dimes has contacted you to inform you of your registration status.

Invoices and Payment of Program Fees
Payment of full program fees is due prior to the commencement of service. Ontario March of Dimes will mail an invoice to you detailing your outstanding balance (less deposit and any subsidy).

Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation, deposits are considered non refundable, however if sufficient notice is given and we are able to fill your spot, at the discretion of Manager, a refund less 10% administration costs or deposit transfer to another class may be allowed.

During Classes

Absences/Vacation
If a participant is ill, they or their family or guardian are expected to notify the conductor as early as possible.  Please notify the Conductive Education® Manager or Lead Conductor in advance if you plan to take vacation time.  Fees must be paid in full regardless of the number of days the participant is absent.  Credits and/or make-up classes will not be given for vacations, miscellaneous absences or illness.

Make up classes
Should a participant be unable to attend a class, March of Dimes will not offer a make-up class or provide a credit. 

Snow Day Policy
Snow days will be called should local schools or transportation be cancelled due to inclement weather.  Fees for the missed class will be taken from the next session’s fee payment.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Holidays
Conductive Education® programs will NOT run on the following days:

• Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday
• The Saturday prior to Victoria Day
• Canada Day
• August Civic Holiday Monday
• The Saturday prior to Thanksgiving Monday
• Christmas week and the following week
