Conductors are specially trained instructors who have completed a 3-year university degree from a conductor training program. They have undergone training in:
- Conductive Pedagogy
- Special Needs in Education
- Physiology/Biology
- Pathology
- Human Movement and Motor Skills
- Therapeutic Aspects of Exercise
- Research Methods
Graduates achieve a Bachelor's Degree in Conductive Education® and QCS - Qualified Conductor Status.
Mhairi (Vari) Watson
Senior Conductor, Toronto, ON

Mhairi graduated as a conductor with a B.A (Honours) from the National Institute of Conductive Education® England. She has worked in a variety of CE settings in many different countries including the UK, New Zealand and the US. Mhairi joined the OMOD/MODC team in March 2005.
Regina Kaszner
Conductor, Toronto, ON

Regina graduated from the Pető András Institute for Conductive Education of the Motor Disabled & Conductors College, Budapest, Hungary in June 2006. She spent the summer 2006 working in Calgary at a summer camp and then worked for the National Institute for Conductive Education, Birmingham, UK for 2 years.
Abigail Payne
Conductor, Toronto, ON
Abigail trained at the National Institute for Conductive Education and graduated in 2008.
Abigail has worked within Conductive Education in schools and centre’s in Aylesbury, London and Brokenhurst in the UK. She has also provided training and intensive parent and child groups in Ireland. Abigail comes to MOD after working in Mauritius, where she was training and implementing the principles of Conductive Education in a special school.
Vishali Malhotra
Conductor, Mississauga, ON

Vishali graduated from the National Institute of Conductive Education and University of Wolverhampton in June 2007.
Karli Craig Conductor, Mississauga, ON
Karli Craig graduated from the National Institute of Conductive Education in England in June 2008 with a BA (Hons) and Qualified Conductor Status. Currently she is providing Conductive Education services at March of Dimes centre at The Functional Performance Centre in Mississauga.
Prior to her studies and career within Conductive Education, Karli graduated from Brock University with a BA (Hons) in Community Health. It was at this university where she first became an employee with March of Dimes Canada working as a personal attendant within the university. She then held the same position with the Whitby supportive housing program for many years and following this worked as a life skills coach in the Literacy Options program at Provincial office. This is where Karli first saw the program of Conductive Education and became fascinated with what it had to offer. Karli is thrilled that she was able to work as a Conductive Education classroom assistant for one year before setting off to England to become a qualified Conductor and she feels very fortunate to be in such a profession that really gives hope to many individuals and their families.
Beth Brydon
Conductor, Halifax, NS

Beth Brydon graduated from the University of Wolverhampton and the National Institute for Conductive Education in June 2007 with a BA (Hons) QCS in Conductive Education. Beth worked for March of Dimes Canada each summer while a student and since graduation. She is originally from the Annapolis Valley and is currently providing Conductive Education services in her home province.
Rachel Salsman
Conductor, Halifax, NS.
Rachel graduated from the National Institute of Conductive Education in June 2009 with a BA (Hons) and Qualified Conductor Status. Before going to England to complete her training as a conductor she graduated from Dalhousie University with a BSc with a double major in Biology and Psychology. She is currently providing services in Nova Scotia.
