November 11, 2017
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Beach Blast, 15 Leswyn Rd., Toronto, Ontario

Dodge and Spike for Dimes 2017 was proud to present a charity tournament blending both the sports of Dodgeball and Volleyball! Corporate teams and teams of friends got together for this fast and fun charity tournament on November 11, 2017 at Beach Blast, 15 Leswyn Rd. (Lawrence Ave W and Caledonia Rd), and helped raise money for children and adults with physical disabilities through March of Dimes Canada's Conductive Education® program. Each team was awarded 6 -15 minute matched with Dodgeball in the morning and Volleyball after the lunch break.

Teams were scored on a plus-only format allowing a fun and supportive environment. The team with the highest plus-only score at the end of the 12 matches was crowned " the "Dodge and Spike 2017 Champion". Teams were awarded points for how many players were left standing during the dodgeball games and how many points a volleyball match was won by.

To support children and adults with physical disabilities, each player was asked to raise a minimum of $75 in pledges and there was a team registration fee of $100. No training, no practice, just loads of fun but with big impact for over 75,000 Canadians living with physical disabilities.
