Rock for Dimes London 2011

Rock for Dimes London!
London’s Big Battle of the Corporate Bands

Members of London’s corporate community play “Rock Star” to raise money for a great cause.

On March 31st, London’s top business executives will be trading in their suits and ties for ripped jeans and guitars at the fifth annual Rock for Dimes event.  Rock for Dimes, a corporate Battle of the Bands, raises funds for March of Dimes Canada.  Five bands comprised of London business professionals will shake Smoke-n-Bones to raise an estimated $10,000 for children and adults with physical disabilities.

The Golden Rule, Ugly Step Sisters, Blue Raven, The Remotes and Duty Calls will compete for bragging rights as London’s best corporate band, at the same time showcasing their talents to guest judges.  Fabrizio Dona, Retired Chief of Police Murray Faulkner, Scene publisher Bret Downe and FM 96 Host Andrea Dunn have been tapped as judges, while /A\ London’s Dan MacLellan will be the evening’s host.

All proceeds benefit March of Dimes Canada’s programs for children and adults with disabilities.

“We couldn’t be more excited about once again staging Rock for Dimes in London,” says Mary Lynne Stewart, Director of Fund Development and Communications for March of Dimes Canada.  “The London community is so supportive, and I am confident that this event will allow us to offer our programs to even more people.”

Rock for Dimes London is sponsored by Allsource Depot Home Health Supplies, London Police, AMG Medical, Smoke-n-Bones, and /A\ London.

Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31st located at 855 Wellington Road.  The event is open to the public. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at or are available at the door.  For more information or to order please call 416-425-3463 ext. 7380 or visit
