Take a Seat for people with disabilities!
Join us at Westgate Mall, 1309 Carling Avenue in Ottawa, on Tuesday, January 25th from 10am - 1:00pm, please join celebrities, canvassers, and March of Dimes supporters at the “Take a Seat” event.
This fun event will be held to kick-off our Door-to-Door Campaign in the Ottawa region. CTV News Anchor Max Keeping and Dominic D’Arcy, “The Singing Policeman” will be in attendance, along with numerous other guests, donors and friends of March of Dimes. Our celebrities will be asked to “take a seat” in a scooter or wheelchair and try to complete an obstacle course, raising awareness of life with a physical disability and highlighting the importance of March of Dimes’ programs and services.
Complimentary refreshments will be provided by Second Cup. Capital City Dance will be provided a dance show. There will be more fun activities, entertainment and the chance to win great prizes. We’ll see you there!
This event is supported by Shoppers Home Health Care, Westgate Mall and Second Cup.
