Tee off to support people with physical disabilities!
March of Dimes Canada will be the beneficiary of Crabby Joe’s annual charity golf fundraiser, taking place on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Sawmill Creek Golf Club. This is the 10th year for the tournament, and the first year that March of Dimes will be the featured charity.
The day has much to offer local golfers. In addition to golfing on one of Camlachie’s finest courses, there will be a putting contest, dinner and awards.
Proceeds will support local March of Dimes programming for people living with disabilities in Sarnia-Lambton, which includes funding for assistive devices, independent living support, community integration and more.
“We chose to support March of Dimes for our 10th annual Crabby Joe’s Charity golf tournament because our family at Crabby Joe’s believes this organization is extremely beneficial to our community. Crabby Joe’s works hand-in-hand with our local community service groups and routinely provides a workplace for individuals with various disabilities,” says David McCallum, the General Manager of Crabby Joe’s.
“With the help of these organizations, we take pride in enhancing the independence of local residents living with disabilities. Our golf tournaments have always been a success, and this year we’re thrilled that the proceeds will help this wonderful organization,” he continues.
Registration will start around 11am and the shotgun will start at noon. The reception starts at 6PM. Dinner and awards will begin shortly after the golfers end their day.
Single tickets are $100 and each player will receive a cart rental, golf package, dinner at the golf course, gift bag, and access to door prizes, 50/50 tickets and hole prizes. Tickets can be purchased at Crabby Joe’s Restaurant located at 1249 London Road in Sarnia. For more information please call 519-337-0866.
