Second Annual Rock for Dimes Sault Ste. Marie
Local amateur musicians to raise money for a great cause.
For the second time, SSM’s top amateur bands will take to the stage at the Rock for Dimes fundraiser.
On Friday, November 14, 2014, seven bands will shake Delta Sault Ste. Marie to raise funds for both March of Dimes Canada and United Way Sault Ste. Marie and district.
The event will provide a musical showcase for Redundant, Thrill Junkies, The Elements, Haggith, Mannapool, Mourning Wood and the winner of a youth event taking place earlier in the day will provide the evening’s entertainment. Local radio personality and City Councillor Lou Turco will be the event host.
“We’re really excited to be holding this fundraiser again in Sault Ste. Marie and looking forward to an evening of great music,” says Mary Lynne Stewart, Director of Fund Development and Communications for March of Dimes Canada. “Partnering with United Way on this event provides a wonderful opportunity to help so many people in need in the community,” she continues.

Doors will open at 7:30pm on Saturday, March 23rd at Delta Sault Ste. Marie, 208 St. Mary’s River Drive, Sault Ste. Marie. The event is open to the public. Tickets are $15 per person.
