Dodging for Dimes Toronto!

Hit Me with Your Best Shot!
Inaugural Dodging for Dimes dodgeball charity fundraiser to raise money for March of Dimes Canada’s programs and services for children and adults with disabilities

On Sunday, January 18, 2015, from 10am – 4pm, Wilkinson Public School (53 Donlands Ave, Toronto, Ontario) will be the site of March of Dimes Canada’s first-ever dodgeball fundraiser.

Teams will fundraise to compete in a friendly dodgeball fundraiser and will be comprised of local businesses and corporations. All funds will support Stroke Recovery Canada, supporting people living with stroke, healthcare professionals and caregivers.

Team registration is $75 per player. Teams are formed with a minimum of 6 players and maximum of 12. Two female players must play at all times. Each team will get a minimum of three games in a round robin format, followed by playoffs.

“We are always looking for new and exciting ways to engage our supporters that really emphasizes the FUN in fundraising,” says National Director of Fund Development and Communications, Mary Lynne Stewart. “We’re holding Dodging for Dimes in Vancouver at the end of February, and are hopeful we can grow into an annual event held in cities across Canada,” she continues.

If you would like more information on registering a team or sponsoring the event please contact Linda Yielding at 416-425-3463 ext. 7290 or by emailing
