MARCH OF DIMES CANADA CELEBRATES VANCOUVER VOLUNTEER
Roger Holland receives Right Honourable Paul Martin Sr. Award
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Each year, March of Dimes Canada takes an evening to recognize exceptional community partners and employees.
‘Like many charities, March of Dimes Canada relies heavily on our wonderful volunteers,’ says Andria Spindel, CEO and President of March of Dimes Canada, ‘and we’re always eager to show our appreciation.’
Vancouver’s Roger Holland recently accepted the Right Honourable Paul Martin Sr. Award, which is given for service to March of Dimes Canada in the areas of fundraising, service, or policy.
Roger has worked hard for MODC since 2006, when he got involved with the very first Rock for Dimes fundraising event in Vancouver. Roger has gone above and beyond in his efforts to support March of Dime Canada by raising money, networking, and developing a March of Dimes Committee in Vancouver. His local event has raised over $120,000 since its inception.
‘Volunteers like Roger are invaluable,’ continues Spindel. ‘It’s inspiring to work with them.’
