For parents with a child age 18 months to 3 years who has cerebral palsy, spina bifida or other neurological disorders.
Conductive Education® is an educational program for children with neurological motor disorders such as cerebral palsy, developmental delay, spina bifida, or those children who have survived a stroke or brain injury.
Our classes provide support, advice, and practical tips to maximize learning opportunities for the child, as well as guide the child through his or her developmental milestones. Being a new parent in the world of disability can be overwhelming, and our classes are designed so families can connect and learn from one another and our experienced staff.
The program is taught by specialized teachers called conductors. All conductors have a university degree in conductive education with expertise in teaching and early intervention.
March of Dimes utilizes a two-step process for entry into the program – first an application followed by an initial consultation. Once we have the application, one of our Conductors will be in touch to set up a convenient time for a consultation. The consultation is key as it allows us to make you aware of the principles of Conductive Education, allows us to see your child in action, understand your goals, and ensure CE is an appropriate intervention for your child at this time.
Here is your chance to try CE for free and experience the vision we share of the benefits this program has for your child!
