MODC is Building Supportive Housing in Sudbury

Volunteer Recruitment is under way! Can you spare a few hours?

As of April 1, 2015, March of Dimes Canada has embarked on a Capital Campaign to build Supportive housing to accommodate 10 Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) consumers on Bancroft Drive in Sudbury, Ontario.

Currently there is a Volunteer recruitment drive underway to fill various roles such as Campaign Chairperson, Honorary Chairperson, Treasurer and a Public Relations/ Media person.

The new building will compliment Wade Hampton House that was built in 2011 for 10 consumers with ABI. Wade Hampton House was the first supportive housing complex to be built in the Sudbury area. This new building will house 10 more consumers and reduce the long waiting list of members in our community who live throughout Sudbury and surrounding area who are searching for necessary accommodations.
