Halifax Region Municipality (HRM) will kick off March of Dimes month on Friday October 9th at City Hall at 1:30 pm. Mayor Mike Savage is going to present MODC with a Proclamation to proclaim October as March of Dimes month in HRM.
This will be followed by the Province kicking off the month the following Friday, October 16th at the Premier’s office at 11:00 am with Premier Stephen McNeil presenting MODC with a Proclamation to proclaim October as March of Dimes Month in the Province of Nova Scotia.

Then on Friday October 30th be sure not to miss the 10th Anniversary of Rock for Dimes Halifax at the Cunard Centre. This year's theme is Country Rocks! So polish off your best pair of cowboy boots, grab a cowboy hat and join us for a great evening of music while supporting a great cause. All funds raised benefit March of Dimes Canada's Conductive Education® Nova Scotia Program, an innovative program that blends elements of education and rehabilitation to improve the independence, mobility and confidence of children and adults with physical disabilities.
