Lowe's in London donates more than $5000 to MODC!

The wonderful folks at Lowe's Canada in London have raised an amazing $5,439 through their annual Lowe's Heroes Project. Each year, employees adopt a local project or charity in their community, and collect donations at cash registers and through fundraising initiatives. Then Lowe's matches 50% of the total, up to $2000 per store.

This year, MODC is the fortunate and grateful recipient of that generosity. The money has helped Patricia Daly install a ramp for her sister Ann, who lives with Down Syndrome and Alzheimers, and gets around in a wheelchair.

The ramp will help Ann get out to attend her day program, which she loves, and make sure she has a safe, quick exit in an emergency.

Many thanks to the wonderful people at Lowe's in London - Ann will continue to live a full, engaged life because of you!
