Caregiver's Guide to Stroke Recovery second edition now available online

A Caregiver's Guide to Stroke Recovery

The 2nd edition of Stroke Recovery Canada's Caregiver's Guide to Stroke Recovery is now available online for viewing.

More Canadians are living with the after-effects of a stroke, and caregivers are looking for support and guidance. In addition to March of Dimes Canada's Stroke Recovery Canada program, which provides a variety of stroke support services, we hope you will find the second edition of Caregiver’s Guide to Stroke Recovery informative and helpful with your recovery or the recovery of loved ones.

The purpose of the guide is to provide a free resource for stroke survivors and their caregivers who aren't sure where to turn. Inside, you’ll find practical tips for daily living, relevant medical information, as well as stories from caregivers and survivors. In addition, there are articles on rehabilitation, spasticity, community reintegration, post-stroke relationships, adapting your environment, and lists of useful contacts.

March of Dimes Canada and our Stroke Recovery Canada program are here for you! Connect with survivors and find out about community programs for stroke survivors and their families, through our toll-free Stroke Recovery Canada Warmline at 1-888-540-6666 or find out more at
