History

The York-Durham Aphasia Centre was established in Stouffville, Ontario in 1989 with a grant from Health and Welfare Canada.

With funding from Ontario Ministry of Health (now Central LHIN) we expanded our programs and services.

In 2010, York-Durham Aphasia Centre merged with March of Dimes Canada and became the Aphasia and Communication Disabilities Program.
