MODC Rock for Dimes

Sarnia raises more than $3000 for March of Dimes Canada!

For Immediate Release – Local musicians raised the roof at Brownstones Sports Lounge and Restaurant for March of Dimes Canada.

The sixth annual Rock for Dimes Sarnia fundraiser included Zephur, Shelly Rastin Band, Me & Mr. Smith, Circle the City, and K+G playing to a crowd of over 100 people and MC Dave Burrows.

Over $3,000 was raised for MODC programs for children and adults with disabilities, specifically our Assistive Devices Program, Home and Vehicle Modification Program, and Standing Oaks (which is right here in Sarnia).

‘Since we started this event, Sarnia has raised $21,500 for MODC,’ said Dennis Ullman, Associate Director of Special Events and Community Relations for MODC. ‘With the $3000 from this year, we’re at $24,000. That money directly, positively impacts a lot of lives.’

Sponsors for Rock for Dimes Sarnia 2017 are: Long & McQuade Music, AMG Medical, Candela, Proactive,
Brownstones Sports Lounge and Restaurant, K106.3, Bluewater Power, Hodges Renovations, Massage Addict and AutoMax.
