Paving the Path to Work graduates showing their certificates of completionToronto – March of Dimes Canada (MODC) is proud to be a recipient of this year’s Rogers Youth Grants!

This $5,000 grant will support Paving the Path to Work, an innovative program that helps young people with disabilities in Canada who want to know more about work and those considering employment for the first time.

“This grant means we can help more young people learn vital employability skills and enhance their understanding of work,”, said Louissa Regier, Director, Skills Development and Employment at MODC. “The goal of this program is to make sure young people have the knowledge they need.”

We’re grateful to Rogers for recognizing our work supporting young people with disabilities and we’re honoured to be selected alongside so many other wonderful and deserving organizations.

“This year’s recipients were chosen for their commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of youth facing barriers,” said Navdeep Bains, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Rogers. “From homework clubs and coding camps to job readiness and college prep programs, these community organizations will collectively provide critical job and skills training, education, and mentorship programs to help thousands of youth realize their potential.”
